Biography

Vladimir Totovic was one of the first filmmakers in Yugoslavia. After experiencing acting in Budapest, upon return to his native Novi Sad he bought a film camera and made two films before being drafted by Austro-Hungarian Empire during WWI. He died on the front near Gorizia, Italy in 1917.
