Biography

French National born in Paris, Studied at university in France and UK Qualified as “Conférencier” from the French ministry of culture and tourism in 1981. Member of the board of examiners at the Ministry of tourism for Guide and Conférencier ‘s qualification for several years Qualified as head of restoration team of volunteer from the French Ministry of historical building. Specialized in Medieval fortification Have been guiding WWI and WWII battlefield tours for many years mostly for American visitors and companies such as National Geographic, Smithsonian Museum, Berckley ,Yale, UVA alumni association, YPO, Rochambeau army, Daughter and Sons of the American revolution etc. Military historian with publication on WWI battle at Verdun, research work on XIX and XX century fortification. A book on the German Falk is due to be released in April next year.Francois is now mainly resident in UK.
